This design‑inspired AJ1 This design‑inspired AJ1 build features a multicolor synthetic nubuck upper with fully mismatched color blocking, capturing the expressive, message‑driven style of the Melody Ehsani Fearless release. Each shoe uses a different palette — warm tones on one side, cool tones on the other — creating an asymmetrical, art‑focused look that instantly stands out.

A navy Swoosh and navy laces anchor the design, while the handwritten‑style midsole text mirrors the storytelling element that made the original pair so recognizable. The outsole features a translucent rubber finish with printed messaging visible underneath, a signature detail from the Fearless collaboration that adds depth and meaning to the design.

Multiple lace options are included for alternate styling. All detailing is completed in‑house using Angelus leather paints where needed and Cricut permanent vinyl for crisp, durable applications.

Inspired by the Melody Ehsani × Jordan 1 Mid “Fearless”, a standout release from the 2019 Fearless Ones collection. The original pair became iconic for its mismatched colors, handwritten quotes, translucent outsole messaging, and Melody’s focus on empowerment and individuality. The design blended streetwear, art, and personal storytelling in a way that made the shoe instantly memorable and highly sought after.

SRR’s design‑inspired version captures the multicolor suede construction, asymmetrical blocking, and message‑driven details of the original while maintaining originality and avoiding any claims of retail authenticity.
