First spotted at J Balvin's birthday party and confirmed by a Jordan Brand insider known for sharing rare samples and unreleased exclusives, the Balvin x Jordan 1 "Blacked Out" is an independent build — same jagged-cut overlay construction and signature smiley pins as the Balvin collab family, but executed in full stealth black from top to bottom. No color. No rainbow. Just black canvas, black overlays, black midsole, and a single yellow smiley pin as the only signal that this is a Balvin build. All-black ripstop/canvas textile upper in the AJ1 High silhouette — heavy-duty woven canvas construction with visible texture and perforations across the toe box. Black-on-black jagged appliqué overlay panels layer across the toe box, quarter panel, ankle, and collar in abstract, torn-edge shapes — the structural language of the Balvin collab family, fully intact and fully blacked out. Black Wings logo on the collar. Black Jumpman on the tongue. Black flat woven laces with an alternate pair of white laces included. The signature Balvin detail: a bright yellow enamel smiley face pin on the lateral midfoot of both shoes, with a second yellow smiley visible inside the collar lining — the only color in the entire build. Full black cupsole midsole and black rubber AJ1 herringbone outsole.
