In 2010, Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 12 "25 Years in China" to commemorate a quarter century of Jordan Brand's presence in the Chinese market. A China-exclusive colorway that never saw wide release in the West, the "25 Years in China" AJ12 is one of the most regionally significant colorways in the silhouette's history. White tumbled leather covers the upper in the AJ12's signature radiating stitch construction. A black lizard-scale textured mudguard wraps the lower profile, grounding the build with sharp contrast. The standout detail is the amber orange midsole — bright, warm, and unlike any standard AJ12 colorway — paired with a red collar lining that wraps the ankle opening. Black lace eyelets and hardware run the lacing system with white laces. The side panel features "T W" script branding inspired by the Chinese market-specific design language. An orange heel pull tab with a red Jumpman anchors the heel, while "23" in orange stamps the heel counter on both sides. Orange outsole with red herringbone traction pods through the center, a black Jumpman stamp on the heel underfoot, and a gray carbon fiber shank plate for structural support.
