The Air Max 90 "OG Volt" is the original. Tinker Hatfield's 1990 debut colorway for the Air Max 90 — light grey mesh base, medium grey suede overlays, dark charcoal lateral panels, and that volt/neon yellow Swoosh that defined the silhouette from day one. Every AM90 colorway that came after was measured against this one. SRR's OG Volt Tribute is a premium custom execution of the most important Air Max 90 colorway ever made. AM90-OGVOLT-009.

Light grey woven mesh runs the large forefoot and midfoot panels — the AM90's iconic grey mesh base that set the template for the silhouette's entire color language. Medium grey suede/nubuck overlay panels cover the toe box and medial quarter panels in a slightly darker grey, the matte suede texture reading distinctly against the mesh base. Dark charcoal smooth leather wraps the large lateral quarter panel and lower lateral sections — the AM90's original dark contrast panels that frame the volt Swoosh. Volt/neon yellow hits the large Swoosh on the lateral side (the defining detail of the entire colorway), the small eyestay overlay panels at the lace eyelets, and the collar lining — confirmed from the top-down and side profile shots. "Air Max" debossed in dark grey on the lateral midsole. White flat woven laces through grey eyelets. From the rear: "NIKE" over "AIR" in volt yellow on both grey suede heel tabs — the clean volt branding that completes the OG colorway story from every angle. Full white foam midsole with the AM90's signature visible Air heel unit tinted in volt/neon green — the volt Air bubble is the colorway's most iconic detail from the side profile. Story / Inspiration

Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Max 90 in 1990 as the successor to the Air Max 1 — a bolder silhouette with more visible Air, more panel complexity, and a more aggressive profile. The volt/neon yellow colorway was the debut release, and it became the AM90's defining image: grey mesh, grey suede, dark charcoal, and that electric volt Swoosh against the grey base. The volt Air bubble visible through the midsole window — the first time Nike had made the Air unit a visible design feature rather than a hidden performance element — was the technological and aesthetic statement that the AM90 was built around.

Thirty-plus years of retros later, the OG Volt remains the standard every AM90 colorway is measured against. SRR's OG Volt Tribute is built for collectors who understand why.
